Opening of the Annual Conference of the Teachers' Union in the United Kingdom in Liverpool with the Participation of a High-level Iraqi Delegation

With the participation of Ahmed Saber, President of the Kurdistan Teachers' Union - Iraq, and Ahmed Jassam, member of the Administrative Board of the Iraqi Teachers' Union.

On Friday, April 18, 2025, the delegation of the two unions participated in the work of the annual conference of the Teachers' Union in the United Kingdom, which was held in the city of Liverpool.

The participation of the delegation of the two unions came within the framework of supporting and strengthening international cooperation between educational unions, and emphasizing the importance of building the collective voice of teachers in facing the challenges witnessed by the education sector at both local and global levels.

The conference included a series of dialogue sessions and workshops that focused on issues of fair education, teachers' rights, digital transformation in education, in addition to mechanisms for building union voice in various educational contexts.
